The physical transformation journey of Fawad Khan is an example for those who believe in extreme dieting
The long-anticipated masterpiece of the Pakistani Film industry, The Legend of Maula Jatt is to release in theaters on October 13, 2022.
The film is a beautifully portrayed work of art with unprecedented get-ups, direction, cast, and screenplays.
Well, the film has a lot to talk and cherish about. However, ahead of the release one of the cast members and renowned Pakistani actor, Fawad Khan has voiced his role and transformation journey.
Fawad Khan lately talked about his experience of body transformation. The actor is usually seen playing roles that do not demand much physical transformation. This time around he shared that he tried to follow Aamir Khan and Christian Bale with body transformation for The Legend of Maula Jatt.
The films seem to have dark and bold aesthetics when it comes to physical looks and aura.
Each actor in the film has a traditional appearance and plays the role with uniqueness in tone and dialogue delivery.
Fawad khan transformed him into the character and put on some weighed. He has recently spoken about how adversely it affected his health.
He pours his heart out in the interview regarding the charm of such transformation on screen, but the price of health is something torturing.
He voiced his experience about some serious health issues he faced as,
“I didn’t treat myself the healthiest by doing so. I wouldn’t repeat that approach. I made some doubtful choices that had a terrible impact on me. There is a dark side to all of these physical changes, and individuals need to understand that by making such choices, they are severely risking their health. And it occurred. I was taken to the hospital after ten days. My kidneys deteriorated. I was told to decrease my walking and eliminate stress. I was putting in long hours. Because I was short of time, it wasn’t the best route to take. Whatever the circumstances, it happened as it did.”
Furthermore,
“Although I am not Christian Bale, I attempted to follow him and even Aamir Khan. I was spending crazy hours. I had a month or so.
Perhaps Maula Jatt would have looked completely different if I had additional six months. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to experience this transformation. Fawad is a diabetic patient and with such existing health conditions, Extreme diets for short periods are never a good recommendation in any condition.”
He weighed about 73-75kgs, and he gained weight up to 100kgs for the character. This does not sound good as he stated about never recommending such transformation to anybody.
It took Fawad three months to get well.
Extreme diets, either for weight loss or gain can make the body weak sooner than healthier. It causes a lack of ability to complete tasks and led to a life-threatening condition.
The wonderful physical transformation seems appealing to others. However, it causes more harm to the body than it does wonder.
