In the course of the period from July 2020 to June 2021, reportedly around 11,586,780 tons of wheat and grains have been refined.
Wheat and grain milling in the country has observed around 41.63% of development in the economic year completed on June 31, 2021, as equated to the grinding and milling of the resultant period of last year.
According to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics,
“During the period from July-June 2020-21, about 11,586,780 tons of wheat and grains milled as compared to the milling of 8,181,150 tons of same period last year.”
During the period under review, some 456,594 tons of cooking oil were manufactured locally as compared to the production of 441,718 metric tons during the same period last year.
On a month-on-month basis, cooking oil production grew by 12.62 percent in June 2021 recorded at 39,388 tons as against the output of 34,973 tons in the same month last year.
On a month-on-month source, home-grown wheat and grain milling have recorded approximately 10% of progress on June 20, 2021, which makes the statistics of around 980,581 tons of wheat and additional grain milled as associated with the 886,005 tons of equivalent epoch last year.
In the intervening time, the domestic production of edible oil was greater than before by 3.37 percent, whereas the statistics of the manufacture of vegetable ghee has to some extent abridged by 1.47 percent in the last year that finished on June 31, 2021, as linked to the production during last.
Meanwhile, over 1.433 million tons of vegetable ghee was manufactured in the fiscal year 2020-21 as against the manufacturing of 1.454 million tons in the same period last year.
The local output of vegetable ghee has perceived approximately 5.84 percent of progression on June 20.
Reportedly around 124,571 tons of vegetable ghee was produced for June 2021 as compared to the fabrication of 117,693 tons last year.
The inclusive amount produced by Large Scale Manufacturing Industries (LSMI) in the country has shown augmentation in productivity and greater than before by 14.85 percent in the course of the period from July-June 2020-21.
The production has ominously augmented in textile, food, beverages, tobacco, coke, petroleum products, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and non-metallic mineral products in July-June 2020-21 as equaled to July-June 2019-20.
The amount produced of automobiles, iron, steel produces, and fertilizers have correspondingly perceived the substantial progression for the duration of the period as matched with the same period of last year.
The assembly of electronics, leather products, and rubber products was left downcast during the period and reflects regression in the assembly and production. However, Wheat and grain have shown great yield.
