PakVac is Pakistan’s first locally-packaged single-dose Covid-19 vaccine that is finally acceptable and documented in the United States and the United Kingdom according to the Special Assistance to the Prime Minister on Health, Dr. Faisal Sultan.
Special Assistance to the Prime Minister on Health, Dr. Faisal Sultan was in communication in a talk show and shed light on the authorization of the PakVac.
He elaborated that the vaccine is acceptable in all those countries that do not necessitate incoming travelers to be vaccinated with certain Coronavirus vaccines together with the United States and the United Kingdom.
According to the Special Assistance to the Prime Minister on Health, Dr. Faisal Sultan,
“PakVac, the first locally produced single-dose vaccine is now accepted in the United States and the United Kingdom.”
PakVac also appellate as Ad5-nCoV, is a rebranded version of a Chinese single-dose Coronavirus vaccine that was first established by CanSinoBIO in collaboration with the Beijing Institute of Biotechnology.

“This is a co-production along with CanSino in Pakistan, the Chinese company provided a vaccine concentrate, which the plant subsequently developed, processed, and packed. CanSinBio had transferred some of its manufacturing technologies to Pakistan and was overseeing activities.”
The National Institute of Health (NIH) Islamabad which is the most privileged institution in Pakistan dealing with medical research and supporting scientific studies for health parameters has launched the local packaging of PakVac after its raw material reached Pakistan from China in May.
