The state of Bahrain removes Pakistan, India, Panama, and the Dominic Republic from its travel red list. Pakistan has been removed from Bahrain’s travel red list.
According to the reports,
“The National Task Force has allowed the Civil Aviation Affairs to update the red list for travel to Bahrain according to the instructions of the Government Executive Committee.”
The Passengers who are traveling to Bahrain from non-red list countries and whose vaccination certificates are documented do not essential to take a PCR test in advance.
On May 24, Bahrain proscribed the admission of travelers from countries on a travel red list, comprising Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Nepal. The prohibition was enforced as a fragment of determination to control the blowout of Covid-19 cases in the country.
Comfort in travel restrictions will be implemented from September 3.
The country has also authorized a counteractive 10-day quarantine for vaccinated and non-vaccinated people from all other countries.
In recent times, the United Kingdom recollected Pakistan on its red list for deteriorating to come across the necessities of genomic surveillance capability, transmission risk, and variants of concern.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan had also elbowed the United Kingdom government in this regard. However, it seems the effort was fruitless and, consequently, many Pakistan will stay separated from their United Kingdom families.
The state of Bahrain on Wednesday decided to remove Pakistan from its travel red list, meaning travelers from Pakistan along with three others countries can travel to Bahrain.
Ease in travel restrictions will be implemented from September 3.
Along with Pakistan, Bahrain has also removed India, Panama, and the Dominic Republic from its travel red list.
The state of Bahrain suspended the entry of travelers from countries on its red list in May. The countries included Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Nepal.
The country also mandated a precautionary 10-day quarantine for vaccinated and non-vaccinated people from all other countries.
In a journey apprise, the Bahrain Civil Aviation authorities said,
“We have added to the red list five more countries namely Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Ethiopia, Costa Rica, and Ecuador, starting from September 3.”
However, all passengers arriving in Bahrain will continue to undergo PCR tests on arrival and on the fifth and 10th days after their stay.
Passengers from red-list countries, including those who have transited through these countries in the preceding 14 days, are denied entry to Britain, except for Bahraini citizens and foreign residents.
Countries on the travel red list include Sri Lanka, Tunisia, Georgia, Bangladesh, the Philippines, Nepal, Iran, Iraq, Malaysia, Vietnam, South Africa, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Mozambique, and Malawi. The state of Bahrain removes Pakistan with different states.
