According to statistical analysis,
“The heavy rainfall in monsoon is the primary cause of flooding. Pakistan has recorded 375.4 mm in rainfall during the past 3 months, which is approximately 3 times more than the average for the state. Over 1,000 people have died as a consequence of the flooding since mid-June.”
Furthermore,
“This catastrophic climate calamity has destroyed billion worth of properties including buildings, roads, and bridges. Weeks of record monsoon rains in Pakistan have killed people and left zillions homeless since mid-June. More than 33 million people have been affected by the disastrous flooding.”
