The floods have destroyed a huge area of Pakistan as a result of severe climate conditions. The changes in climate and weather conditions are aging showing terrible signs of damage and out-of-control conditions.
Pakistan is suffering from extremely challenging conditions as a huge infrastructure come under flood water. People lost lives and now they are all helpless.
To help poor people gain some momentum in life, Global Affairs Canada announced some humanitarian assistance.
The federal government will contribute $5 million to upgrade the relief efforts for the floods in Pakistan.
The Canadian administration will provide emergency assistance, particularly nutrition and financial support, to the most severely affected people. The funding will help them in the hardest times.
According to statistical analysis,
“The heavy rainfall in monsoon is the primary cause of flooding. Pakistan has recorded 375.4 mm in rainfall during the past 3 months, which is approximately 3 times more than the average for the state. Over 1,000 people have died as a consequence of the flooding since mid-June.”
“This catastrophic climate calamity has destroyed billion worth of properties including buildings, roads, and bridges. Weeks of record monsoon rains in Pakistan have killed people and left zillions homeless since mid-June. More than 33 million people have been affected by the disastrous flooding.”
It is the responsibility of the world to help those who are affected as a result of the terrible flooding in Pakistan.
In the upcoming days and weeks, Pakistani people try to recover from these devastating floods. The government of Canada has shown alliance and support in all the hard times.
The state will provide nutrition, fresh water, and other essential services. It intends to carefully follow the situation to ensure assistance and emergency service. Canada stands with the citizens of Pakistan.
