The Islamic Republic of Pakistan is currently going through the worst calamities that have destroyed billion of worth of assets. The flooding has caused massive damage and 15% of the Pakistani population has become a victim.
Pakistan had been affected by the floods that are caused by heavy rainfall.
To compensate for the unbearable damage, several campaigns are initiated. The ex-prime minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan has proved one gain that the nation trusts him in doing efforts for Pakistan.
In a Three-hour-long telethon, he raises Rs500 crore for flood fatalities. The nation has poured its heart and donations into Imran Khan and trusted him with his unconditional love for Pakistan.
He held an international telethon to raise resources from within the state and out of the country Pakistanis for the flood victims.
The PTI chairman, Imran Khan has voiced his views as,
“The sole solution to prevent the catastrophes caused by a flood is to construct dams. This is a hard time for the whole nation; therefore, every individual should make an effort. The entire country has been affected by this flood as per the initial assessment. It lost a huge infrastructure. I get many calls from Pakistanis, counting ex-pats who desired to support the flood sufferers. The public can contribute to 2 bank accounts activated by Punjab and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa administrations. The money will be used up to support the flood-hit persons of Pakistan.”
His objective of fundraising is to support the helpless flood fatalities because no account administration on its own could deal with such a catastrophe.
Several celebrities, and common people, have participated in the cause. The amount is whole-heartedly contributed to help the people.
The massive damage will require ages to be compensated. However, people including Imran Khan are putting in the effort.
The PTI chairman is struggling for the actual freedom of Pakistan. He always talks about the individuality of the Pakistani nation and puts efforts to support Pakistan in hard times.
