This time around the Squid Game star O Yeong-us who has portrayed an old man named Oh II-nam and Player 001 has complete, actor recognition.
The Golden Globes posted on the website about Squid Game star as,
“O Yeong-su wins Best Performance by a Supporting Actor in a Series, Limited Series, or Television Movie! While O Yeong-su is a respected stage actor in his native South Korea, his Globe nod is his first-ever nomination in a major awards show.”
He has accolades for his brilliant performance in the series as the 1st South Korean artist to gain a Golden Globe and beat the parallel nominations comprising Kieran Culkin for Succession, Mark Duplass for The Morning Show, Billy Crudup for The Morning Show, and Brett Goldstein for Ted Lasso.
The top honor was publicized at the 79th edition of the Golden Globes and was apprehended at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles in a private ceremony with no viewers and no live stream or television broadcast.
