United Nations Security Council, the Afghan crisis

The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) has assembled an emergency consultation for Friday to deliberate on the Afghan crisis.

United Nations Security Council (UNSC) has been found guilty of the attacks on Afghan members of the public.

United Nations Security Council (UNSC) has christened the Afghan government and the Taliban to take part eloquently in an all-encompassing, Afghan-led, and Afghan-owned reconciliation development with the purpose of assembly of imperative movement toward a political settlement and a ceasefire.

The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) has condemned in the strongest terms to consider the outbreaks on the member of the public in Afghanistan and all cases in point of terrorism.

According to the statement,

“The members of the United Nations Security Council recognized that a wave of sustainable peace can be achieved only through a comprehensive and inclusive Afghan-led, Afghan-owned peace process that aims at a permanent and comprehensive ceasefire, as well as an inclusive, just, and realistic political settlement to end the conflict in Afghanistan. The members of the Security Council called on both the Islamic Republic and the Taliban to engage meaningfully in an inclusive, Afghan-led, and Afghan-owned peace process on the Afghan crisis to make urgent progress towards a political settlement and a ceasefire.”

The United Nations Security Council, under the Presidency of India, will meet on Friday to talk over the deteriorating security situation in Afghanistan. The pronouncement to hold the UNSC conference on Afghanistan originates just a day after Afghanistan Foreign Minister Mohammed Haneef Atmar spoke with External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar to deliberate the summoning of an emergency UN Security Council Session on Afghanistan.

The United Nation and the international community must play a greater part to halt the tragedy in Afghanistan due to Taliban violence and outrages.

The combat between the Taliban and Afghanistan’s government militaries has strengthened over the past few months as the United States and NATO troops complete their withdrawal from the war-torn country.

The Ambassador of India o the United States said,

“We are convinced that we should address the question of violence and the targeted attacks and these are very serious concerns and all violence must come to an end. Ties with international terrorism should also be cut. We cannot have terrorist camps once again moving back into Afghanistan. And this will have a direct impact on India.

On Tuesday, the influential 15-nation Security Council condemned last week’s disgraceful attack against the United Nations compound in Herat, Afghanistan, and articulated profound apprehension over the elevation of violence in the war-torn country following the Taliban’s military offensive.

The Council also declared that it does not support the restoration of the Islamic Emirate. The members reaffirmed that there is no military solution to the conflict, and declared that they do not support the restoration of the Islamic Emirate. The Afghan foreign minister had reportedly, during the conversation, sought a special meeting of the United Nations Security Council.

United Nations Security Council members would be directed by Foreign Minister Atmar and United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan’s chief Debrah Lyons during the session on the Afghan crisis.
