One of the popular politicians of Pakistan, Imran Khan, has called for a long march. Once again the Islamic Republic of Pakistan is amidst the chaos of political disarray, marches, and elections demands. The previous prime minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan who was taken out with a no-confidence motion, has called for the long march.
The capital of Pakistan is again in a problematic situation as the tension heightened.
Khan is one of the most followed and celebrated personalities in Pakistan. The attachment of youth to their leader is unprecedented. On one call of Khan, an arena of people across Pakistan gather to fulfill their leader’s call.
PTI chairman presented a 6 days ultimatum to the current administration of Pakistan to declare the election date.
The year 2022 has been super challenging for the politics of Pakistan. The most recent chaos was the removal of Imran khan with a no-confidence motion.
Afterward, there is a disturbing situation in the state.
Khan declared the long march of his party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf towards Islamabad for the fight for real freedom for Pakistan.
The main directives and purpose of the long march are no to the imported government of Pakistan and the instantaneous dissolution of the National Assembly with the date for the next general election.
The PTI leader has voiced his views as,
“On the 25th of May I will meet you in Islamabad on the Srinagar Highway. You have to reach there at 3 pm. I invite all the women because I’ve seen your anger. I had never seen that before. I want people from all [walks of life] to come because this is Jihad and not politics. I’ve decided and told all my team that we have to be ready to sacrifice our lives. We will never in any situation accept them. No matter how long we have to remain in Islamabad we will remain there.”
To control the long march, the police have established and taken severe measures. The Islamabad Police has issued a traffic plan for the comfort of people.
No decision is taken up until now. The current government is taking measure against the long march and condemn the action taken by the former government. However, a huge population is with Imran Khan and seen to be with him on roads, venues, and everywhere.
The PTI administration has not accepted the government after his removal and vowed to come back with more power.
