Following months of waffling, legal battles, and the close encounter from a full-blown trial, Musk now owns Twitter. Months of legal fighting have come to an end with the completion of the purchase; however, there are raised concerns and different predictions about the platform’s future direction and what is to come.
Elon Musk finalized his historic purchase of the social media platform for business, advertising, and stuff. He is the epitome of revolution and modernization; therefore he will be leading Twitter into a modern era.
Musk’s business strategies have always been admired, however, Twitter is a bit different matter and there are uncertainties regarding his approaches.
What will come in a long-term period is still unpredictable. Although, he began eliminating employees at least four senior Twitter employees, including the CEO and CFO. He also toured the Twitter offices in San Francisco and had meetings with engineers and ad executives.
The initial terms began with some eliminations and touring of the working places and plans.
Twitter’s future remains uncertain, however, he has always been an admirer and believer in free speech. He also wanted the platform to be a more accessible space for all types of discussions.
Hence, we can anticipate more lenient free speech rules. But, nothing is confirmed yet.
If we talk about what possibly could happen, some things would change some course of discussions for long-term and short-term approaches.
The open manner of speaking on Twitter would be seen and could be impacting political, regional, and social discussions worldwide.
But, it does not mean that there would be no regulations and guidelines and Twitter would become an open place where people could say anything that must not be said.

The journey of the deal acquisition
In April 2022, Elon Musk made an unexpected $44 billion bid for a Twitter acquisition, saying he wanted to turn Twitter into a private company with the best technology solutions and open the platform to more freedom of speech.
The board of Twitter replied to Musk’s offer with a poison pill response by making it more expensive to purchase shares above a certain threshold.
The management of Twitter discussed with Musk in April to review his offer after the financing was established. The parties quickly reached an agreement, with the company selecting to sell itself for $54.20 per share, or about $44 billion overall.
The short-term Problem began soon after Musk and Twitter reached an agreement.
Due to a continuous disagreement of opinion on the number of spam accounts (protection services). Musk announced in July that the agreement was being terminated.
The billionaire was then sued by Twitter to make him complete the deal. In return, Musk accused Twitter of fraud, saying that the company concealed the exact figure of the fake accounts sector on its platform.
On October 4, Musk put forth a bid to purchase Twitter for $44 billion, the price he had earlier agreed to pay for the firm.
The purchase was completed on October 27. At least four of the senior Twitter executives, including the CEO and CFO, were dismissed as part of Musk’s swift housecleaning.

Some Major changes on Twitter were seen, such as new leadership, employment layoffs, and the search for fresh revenue streams, have been announced by Musk.
Advertising on Twitter was one of the things that were failing. Musk also wanted to take action swiftly for this matter.
