The President of Finland Sauli Niinistö stated,
“Finland is pursuing NATO association because the Russian attack evidenced that the Kremlin doesn’t esteem formally non-aligned countries. What we understand currently is that Europe is more alienated. There is no additional scope for neutral in between.”
