Approximately three thousand religious intellectuals were present in the Jirga (gathering in Kabul) from different provinces of the state.

“Thank God, we are now an independent country. (Foreigners) should not give us their orders, it is our system and we have our own decisions. We have a relationship of devotion to one God, we cannot accept the orders of others who God does not like. They don’t believe in human rights and that’s why no woman was invited inside the Loya Jirga. Why is the world interfering in our affairs? They say ‘why don’t you do this, why don’t you do that?’ Why does the world interfere with our work? This gathering is about trust, and interaction, we are here to make our future according to Islam and national interests.”
The administration of Afghanistan cleared that they want harmony and safety.
